You do not need perfect measurements to begin, but you should describe the project in practical terms. For example, "three bedrooms and a hallway" is more useful than "some rooms."

Describe condition and prep

Photos are especially helpful. A few wide shots and a few close-ups can show access, condition, height, and details that are hard to explain in a form.

Say what you expect from the estimate
